Introducing our new marketing calendar: every marketer’s must-have. Whether you’re a marketing team of one or many, there’s one tool all marketers use: a calendar. They’re at the center of everything we do, helping us plan, track, communicate, and remember to have coffee with that job applicant as a favor to a friend even though you’re insanely busy.

That’s why we’re adding a new marketing calendar to Emma, giving you increased visibility into your email schedule, making it easier for your team to work together, and helping you adjust your marketing strategy on the fly.

Features

  • Quickly view sent and scheduled mailings (including A/B content tests)

  • Access the response results for previously sent mailings

  • Easily cancel scheduled mailings

The marketing calendar is available today for all Emma Pro, Plus, and Premium account types.

BONUS: Import Triggered Field Change Automation Workflows

Whoah, that's a lot of words!!

What does this mean? :

Before, there was not a way to trigger any automation workflows off of a spreadsheet Import into Emma.

Now, when you head to your import screen, you'll see this new fancy checkbox option:

If you have an Automated Workflow based on a specific Field Change, you can tell Emma to check the spreadsheet to see if any of the contacts that we're updating for you would be eligible to trigger your Field Change workflow and fire it off for them!

For more information on setting up a field change automation workflow, check out our RESOURCE CENTER article.

Cheers!

Hi Grey,

These updates are excellent! One question: the email version of this announcement says that the marketing calendar is also available to Enterprise accounts, but in your post here and in the how-to, Enterprise accounts are excluded.

Can you please confirm which announcement is correct? I do not currently see the calendar on our account but we are excited to finally have this feature.

Hi Jason!   Thanks for reaching out!

The Marketing Calendar is available for our Enterprise accounts with our "Plus" upgrade along with the new Emma look.

I'm happy to have someone from our Pricing department reach out to discuss what it would look like for you guys to upgrade your account.

Let me know!

Hi Greg,

I couldn't tell from this article or the resource center one... Is it now possible to trigger an automated message from import and have it recognize a NEW contact? Or is the field change trigger only if a field on an existing contact is changed? Ultimately, I want to be able to import a list of new contacts and have it trigger our Welcome email. Thanks!

Hi there!   The new option only gives you the ability to trigger based on a FIELD CHANGE, not on Signup.  The Field Change trigger only applies to contacts who are already in the account.

I know other folks have requested that functionality as well, but the behind-the-scenes functionality of that is quite a bit different.  It may be something we explore in the future, but for this release we're looking specifically at Field Change triggers.
