Our automation and content teams released a few updates this week that improve an automated workflow option and a change couple labels you see in your account.

+ New and improved
  • Field change triggers for radio and dropdown fields means you can automate emails based on updates to fields that let you select one option at a time (commonly used for things like accounts status).

  • Email response details for automated emails included a deceptive use of the word "Activated" in two places that often contained different dates: the Response list view page, where the date represented is indeed the date the workflow was activated; and on the detailed response view, where the date represented was actually the date that automated email was first sent. We've updated the language to reflect the distinction.
  • For those who have our new lightbox forms (you'll get them soon if you don't have them yet!), we've changed the label from "email capture forms" to "lightbox forms."
+ Bug fixes
  • Special characters -- like an em dash, symbol or accented letter -- in automated workflow names were making it impossible to edit the emails within said workflows. We won't see that problem now.
  • We've had a few clients report spottiness in the sending of date-based workflows. This fix should smooth out sending for those workflows.
