So we've just discovered that are images are looking soft. A bit disappointed there wasn't some sort of obvious shout out in the builder or via email in the same way when the builder moved away from the html uploader.

Anyway, we understand full-width images need to be around 1280px wide, but what about other images that aren't full width like buttons?

One button I originally created was an image at 260px. I sent myself an email, copied and pasted the image into Photoshop and the image size was stretched to 520px wide. Ok fine.

But now when I create a button image the 520px is too wide. Am I just supposed to add loads of padding until it looks right? If I do this it then doesn't work in mobile.

I have brand guidelines I need to stick to, so using an Emma button isn't an option. I essentially need to create an image that isn't full width but still works on Retina.

Here's what I mean in images:

How I want it to look, about 260px wide:

How it actually looks - fuzzy:

The size Emma is suggesting I upload it - 520px, too big - I want it 260px wide:

If I add 150px padding right and left to get it to the right size, it doesn't work on mobile:

I talked to Richard at Kee yesterday about this very issue. We tried a couple of things but it came down to having to put in a feature request. I have done that for you.

If there is anyone else that would like to support this request, please let me know on this thread and I will add you to the the feature request.

We have this same issue. We have non-full width images are intended to be 165 pixels wide. If I upload 330 pixel image, I can't get it to the correct size in the editor (small is too small, medium is too large). If I upload a 165 pixel image, it displays correctly, but Emma enlarges it to 330 pixels for retina screens.
