Safe Sender List Question

I'm trying to test the link in the footer about adding our address to the "safe sender" list.  But, nothing seems to happen when I click on that link.

A lot of your help articles suggest making one of our initial CTAs trying to get the user to add us to the safe sender list, but it seems like that is easier said than done...  I thought about adding a link to a blog post explaining how to do it, but obviously if your link does that, or explains how, it would be simpler...

Do you have an example of an e-mail that effectively gets whitelisted above average?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Andrew,

The link that's applied to that line is actually applied to both lines in the footer:
"This email was sent to name@exampleemail.com
To continue receiving our emails, add us to your address book."

We did that so that we can control the font color of the link that's applied so that the inbox doesn't automatically style that link a certain way. So, the link isn't intended to be used for actually adding to their address book or providing instructions for doing so. Each mail client will have a slightly different method of adding contacts, so there won't be a single set of instructions that we could provide for your recipient base. That line, "To continue receiving our emails, add us to your address book." is simply a suggestion to help your recipients continue receiving mailings.

I hate that line was causing some confusion, so please feel free to let me know if you have any suggestions to make that clearer- I'll be more than happy to pass the suggestion along to our product team so they can keep it in mind!
