Scheduled email deleted but sent anyway

I recently scheduled an email that had to be pulled due to unforeseen circumstances. I stopped the scheduled email but it was still automatically sent out at its previously scheduled time and is shown on my dashboard/response page, however, the email is not in my sent list. This is an unfortunate catastrophe! Why did this happen? 

I currently use Google Chrome, Version 56.0.2924.87

Hi there!

I'd be happy to look further into this for you to determine what happened, and of course to prevent it from happening again. I took a look at your account and noticed that there were 3 different mailings that were cancelled recently that went to 0 recipients. Could you let me know what the name of this cancelled mailing was and when it was cancelled? Once I have a bit more information I can dig in further.

Is it possible that you can look into this further? I know this email went out. It is in the dashboard with a response rate, that I included in screenshots above, and is not in the sent folder of our account. I am also certain this went out since the person that is associated with this subject matter received responses personally regarding this message after this email went out.

Please help.

Hi there! I just wanted to follow up with some more information about what happened in this case. You were actually impacted by a bug. When you scheduled your first send you likely saw an error and then tried to schedule the send for a second time. However the first email was still scheduled. When this happened only 1 email was visible to you and that was the one that was cancelled.

Luckily something like this is very rare and I wouldn't expect it to happen often at all. We do have a bug listed for this and I've made sure to have you added to that bug. We will be sure to update you when we have a fix in place!

Thank you for getting back to me on this. I really appreciate you digging further and finding an issue. 

I will log this as being a bug in the software, and hopefully the issue will not be encountered again in the future.
