It would be great to have the ability to search and create segments by the contact status. It would be a great way to remove opt-outs and errors from a segment.

Hey there Josué,

Can you tell me a bit more about what you're looking for here?

When segmenting, you get the Error and Opt-Out tabs just like you do with a Group, so I would think that should give you what you're looking for.

Can you maybe walk out a use-case for having those as segmenting criteria?  I'm curious as to how you might use that.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for getting back to us on this. We would like to be able to remove errors and opt-outs from a new segment.

Here's a typical case that we see: we send a campaign to group A and a few days later we resend the campaign to a segment that includes group A except for those in a suppression group we created. When we create the segment, there's no way to exclude errors and opt-outs. We understand that Emma won't send to errors and opt-outs but we would have like to be able to create a clean segment. It would make it easier to spot errors and opt-outs from the resend.

Does that make sense? Thanks again.

Josué

I think I'm tracking here.

Just so I'm clear, are you looking for something different from the Opt-Outs and Bounces recorded on the Response page?

I just want to make sure I flesh out the whole idea.

Grey, the screengrab attached is an example of what we are looking for. This segment is based on a particular group suppressing a group of records. We would have also liked to be able to filter out the 1,625 optouts and 363 errors. Does that make sense?

Yeah, I think I've gotcha!

For now perhaps you can copy only the Actives into their own group for individual tracking.

Cheers!

We've gone the other way around. We have created a group of errors-optouts that we use to suppress from all of our new segments. Whenever a new error or optout shows up in the clean-up segments, we just add them to the errors-optout group.
