I am doing a search in Audience for a bunch of Contacts. Once that search runs, I'd like to select all of those contacts and perform an action on them (like put them in a group or archive them). I'd expect there to be a "Select All" button or checkbox in the header that would select all of the search results. I don't see anything like that. I've attached a screenshot of where I think it would be.

Is there a way to select all the results of an audience search?

I'm on Windows 10 using the latest Chrome.

Hi Alex!  Thanks for reaching out!

You were SOOOOO close...

You'll actually just click the Actions button with nothing checked and it will list the actions as being for "ALL"

Let me know if you have any questions on this!

Hi Grey,

I tried that and it tells me that it has moved "all selected contacts" to the group but when I look in the group, there are no contacts there. That's why I thought maybe I needed to have selected something.

Either way, it doesn't appear to be working. Feel free to login to my account and take a look.

If you do a search for "aezell," you'll find about 7000 contacts from back when I worked at Emma ;) I'd actually like to delete them, but I was going to just add them to a group since when I originally tried, the "Archive all" was suffering from the same issue.

Now I've just tried it again and it appears to work. No idea what was happening.

So strange!   I know that when mass deleting a large amount of contacts, the system can sometimes time-out, or it may take the group counts a bit to update.  Perhaps that's what you were seeing.

Please do let me us know if you wind up running into any other funkiness!

I have the same issue, except I would actually want a select all check box so that I can un-check some of them.  There are times when I want to do a mass move/edit/whatever and select all of them except a few and it would be so much faster to have a check box and then unselect the ones I don't want.

This was something that was on the old layout (which was so much more user friendly than the new layout) and it would be nice to have it again, especially since the new layout has about half as many users visible on my screen as what the old layout shows.

Any success with product team? I'm having the exact same issue. Doing a search within a contact group, and have nearly 300+ emails I'd like copied over. I see no option to "select all" on the Actions tab (which only appears when you check a box by the way)

I don't have any updates from the product team on this particular request.

I'm wondering if using segments might be a way to achieve the same goal.  Or if there is not a common criteria to search by, you could export the group, perform your manual search there in the sheet, then import the contacts you need into a new group.  I realize that may not be ideal, I just wanted to throw out some other options.

I'm also curious that you mentioned that the Actions button doesn't show until you check a box.  Did I read that correctly?  That's not the typical behavior.  You should always have the Actions button and the ability to make changes en masse.
