The sing-up form at the following location sends a single input value of "email" from the clients site to the emma "singup page". When the user clicks submit from the client site a new tab is opened with the emma signup page. The user is expected to click submit again when they land on the emma signup page in order to submit the emma signup form.

The emma signup page accepts the "email" post value from the client site. However, when the user clicks submit button on the emma singup page the form says the there is an error. This error only occurs when post data is sent to the emma signup page.

Do you have any idea why this might be happening? Or perhaps the emma signup form page is not designed to accept post data?

Hi Randy -- Here you'll want to either use the Emma sign-up form directly or use the non-Emma sign-up form on the site with API calls to transfer that sign-up data back to your Emma account. The extra step you've added here of linking your non-Emma form to the Emma form is what's causing the hangup.

You'll want to just use one or the other. Here's more on our open API and the documentation you'll need to set up those calls!
