Set Options for Radio Buttons with API

I'm trying to use the API to auto-create some standard contact fields in all our sub-accounts. However, they need to be radio button widget fields, and while I can successfully create the field, I don't see anything in the API for populating the options. Is there a way to do that - some  undocumented parameter I can send in to populate the options?


p.s. Browser version irrelevant.
