Simplified sign-up, ability to format Manage Your Preferences emails

Currently it's not possible to format, add images or branding to the Manage Your Preferences reply email on the Simplified Sign-up form (the last tab). Currently these emails are really basic looking and text only with unweildly links. It would be great to be able to style the textt, add an image to this so that it looked like the other emails that we send, and to hide the URLs in buttons. All of this would give subscribers easy visual cues to indicate that it was coming from us.

We should encourage people to manage their preferences and be able to send a message to thank them when they do. The current manage your preferences email reply delivers a poor subscriber experience.

Hey there!  Thanks so much for your post!  I've got a few things to add:

1. The basic, plaintext mailings that we have set up for signup and manage preferences are, as you said, only set up to be plaintext.  No images or fancy HTML, and the links are all visible and can't be hidden under text.

2. We encourage folks who are looking for a little more out of their welcome emails to use our Automation Workflow builder, specifically set to trigger off of your specific signup form.  Using that, you can use a mailing created using the Drag and Drop editor as your "Thank you for signing up".

3. We also have the option of setting up a workflow for if someone manages a SPECIFIC contact field.  That being said, we don't have an option for triggering Automated Workflows based on if someone uses the Manage Preferences form in general.

4. I'm going to add in a request to our developers to allow you to trigger an automated workflow based on if someone Manages Preferences link at all and submits changes.

Let me know if I've missed something here, as I want to make your request as clear as possible to our developers!

Cheers!

Thanks Gray. We use automated replies for our welcome message, but as I understand it automated messages are not currently configured to be able to be triggered when someone checks or unchecks a box, like a person needs to do with subject areas on our sign up form.

Thanks for submitting this request to your developers.
