Contacts without email addresses skipped on import

I am in the process of migrating all of my contacts from another site(specifically Zoho CRM) to MyEmma. I do have a number of contacts in my list that do not currently have email addresses. Since Emma requires an email all of those contacts are being skipped on Import. I have tried putting in a fake email just to get it in the system until I can fill in all those fields but that causes them to be skipped at Duplicates. Is there any way I can get these contacts all into MyEmma? Any tips or advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Many Emma customers use their accounts as CRMs, but Emma is primarily an email marketing platform. Ergo, an email address is the identifying factor necessary to create a member record. Emma will not create two member records for the same email address, as you've already found out. So if you want to import additional contacts with fake email addresses, you'll need the placeholder email to iterate for every entry, like so: fakeemail@notreal.com, fakeemail2@notreal.com, fakeemail3@notreal.com, etc. I hope this helps!
