I am looking to allow a user to click on the phone number and instead of having the popup to be Call 888-888-8888 I would like the popup to have the function Send Text to 888-888-8888. Is there a shortcut or a code I input in the email to do so?

Hey there,

This is definitely a possibility! Please refer to our article here. You'll see that we have a section that explains SMS messaging which states:

You can link text or images to these "special" URLs by adding the following code (which is not trackable in Response) into the URL field:
  • tel:<phone number>: This will open the number on your phone with it pre-populated so you can call it. It works on Android, IOS and computers.
  • mailto:<emailaddress>: This will open up an email that's pre-filled and ready to be sent to the address specified.
  • sms:<phone number>: This will open up the text app on your phone with the number pre-populated so you can text it. It works on Android and iOS.
  • fb://<relevant information> (for example: fb://profile/12345678910): This will open the Facebook profile on your phone. It works on iOS.
  • twitter://<relevant information> (for example: twitter://user?screen_name=twitterhandlegoeshere): This will open the Twitter profile on your phone. It works on iOS.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Have a Happy New Year! :)
