I've reported this issue in the past and thought it would be fixed by now but after I build a campaign in the new editor and then schedule it it immediately posts to my Facebook and Twitter feeds - regardless of when I schedule it. I've also noticed now that it is not posting to my company's Facebook page which I select but to my personal page. I've disconnected both Twitter and Facebook and reconnected them thinking that might be the issue however the errors still occur the same as I've described. This has been happening since I started using the new editor quite some time ago when it was in Beta testing.

Please contact me with a follow up or potential resolution.

We are so sorry for the untimely post. The scheduling aspect of Emma's social posting feature is not working correctly, and I know that is a big bummer. For the time being we do not recommend trying to schedule a social post when you are scheduling your mailings in Emma, because those messages are likely to post immediately.

I do not have an eta for when social posts will publish as scheduled at the moment, but I am getting that information from our developers and will follow up here as soon as I know more. I will also be sure to let you know when we get the green light to schedule posts, so you can use the scheduling feature as intended. In the interim, you'll want to wait until the mailing has sent to post to Twitter and Facebook. The instructions to post a prior mailing are covered here: http://myemma.com/resources/how-to/us....

I hopped into your account and visited the response page to check your social settings, and I can confirm that you have authorized Emma's social connector to post to your brand pages. So you are good on that front. Because you manage multiple brand pages, you will need to click the link to adjust your social network settings each time you want to post to a different page (see screenshot):

Once you select the appropriate brand page for that particular post, click the button that says "back to sharing" to share the message. By doing this before you post to a unique page, your message will be shared with the right people every time.

I have good news about the scheduled social posts from Emma's developers: they will begin working to resolve this bug in their next sprint, which begins on Monday. Sprints last two weeks, so with luck, this bug should be fixed by the end of October. I'll update this topic again as soon as we can confirm that the scheduling piece of social posting works as it should.

This just in - Scheduled social posts will now be shared on Facebook and Twitter at the hour designated by you!

We're sorry for the inconvenience, and hope you'll let us know if there is anything else that needs attention.

I just tried this out on a press release I scheduled to go out at 9 a.m. on 11/13 and it still posted it immediately to my Twitter feed and then it posted to my personal Facebook page not my Business page as well. It doesn't seem to be fixed. I cleared my cache and history as well.

Thanks for checking back on this. We have tested the bug fix thoroughly, and our scheduled posts have consistently posted at the correct time since the bug was fixed yesterday. One thing that may explain what happened in your case is that you may have not changed the date when you selected the time. If you schedule a post for a time that has already happened (i.e. the date is left on the current date), then Emma will post immediately.

Regarding the issue of which Facebook page your post appeared on, I would refer back to my earlier instructions on how to select the right brand page using the "adjust your social network settings" option. In your account right now, your wall is the default, so unless you change that before posting to social, Emma will put the post on your wall.
