Signature jpeg keeps aligning center instead of left justified. How can I keep it left? I've tried settings- vertical/horizontal but when I open back up it goes center

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. When using a single image placeholder the image is always going to be placed in the center of the column by default. So if you are using a single column layout the image will be placed in the center of your mailing.

There are two ways to modify the alignment of that image. The first is to edit the image outside of Emma so that it has whitespace to the left (or right) of the image. This would mean your image becomes almost as wide as the mailing but the signature is just positioned on the far right (or left) of that actual image. I have seen this workaround work very well.

The second option is to add a significant amount of padding on one side or another for your image. Once your image is uploaded to the campaign, hover over that image and click options. Once the Styles and Settings menu appears you will see a "gear" icon near the bottom left. Click there and then you can edit the margin and padding on each side independently. To left align the signature in your campaign, I set the margin like this:

I did have to play around with how much to increase that right side margin and eventually felt that 450 pixels looked best.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

This used to work... but now the padding/margin setting affects the whole document... not just the box you are working in... SO frustrating for signatures... would seem this is something that would be fixed by now... centering is not only an issue, but it is impossible to give the proper spacing vertically as well... #$%R&*()_#$%^&*$%^&*

I'm so sorry for our delayed response. Your comment here was somehow missed, and I regret the frustration that must have caused. It sounds as though you're looking to apply vertical alignment, which isn't something you can control. Would you be up for creating a new idea topic that I could take to our product owners? It helps to hear use cases like yours to help us better understand the need for that capability.

Aligning images in the image block.

Hi there-
Images in the Image Block are centered by default, how can you align to the right or left?

Just want to pipe in here that I found the solution, I guess MyEmma added it recently. In the Styles and Settings box of your image, click Settings, then click Position. You can left-justify there.
So relieved that this functionality has been added! Thanks!
