Spell check a subject line's text

Today I sent out a mailing with a misspelled word in the subject line. I know it happens, but when the entire company is calling you to point out your mistake, it's not a great feeling. Is there something in the works to prevent this?

Thanks!

Hi Brandi! Since the current spell check tool doesn’t reach the Send Test or Review & Send screens, which is where you can add a subject line, I’m changing this topic to an Idea. I’ll check with our drag & drop editor product owner next week and let you know what comes of it! Sorry to hear your subject line didn’t send as you’d intended. :(

This isn’t planned for now. If you’re concerned about typos sneaking into your subject line, I suggest using the actual subject line you want when you’re using the Send test button to have your colleagues proof the mailing, if that’s part of your process.

I actually did use the test email subject line, but sent the test out 30 minutes prior to the actual mailing that was sent. No one caught it in that 30 minutes, including myself. :(

It's ok, I'll forever be watching that subject line closely now! :)

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Spellchecker Subject Line.

It would be great if there was a way to spell-check the subject lines and preheader text. Also, speaking of preheader text, the preheader text on the notification email I received (notifying me that I had a new subscriber) reads something that doesn't make sense for the email (though I can't remember what it reads now).
