Split a text block into two text blocks.

I find myself frequently working on a text block and then realize "Hey, this is getting too long... I need to chop it in half and insert an image or a CTA button."

When this happens I have to create a new text block then cut some text from the existing block and paste into the new block, but I lose my margin and padding settings and there are usually some unpredictable consequences when I paste into the new block. Formatting is always a problem.

It would be fantastic to simply click a "split block" button and have the editor automatically create a new text block and do the cutting and pasting for me, separating the content at the point where I have my cursor and dividing it between the old and the new text block.

Hey there! This is a cool idea, and I can see what a timesaver it would be to not have to cut, paste and reformat your text.

I'm going to run this by our Product Team at their meeting next week to learn more about their plans for new editor capabilities. I'll let you know what I find out!

Hi again! I spoke with our Product Team, and this isn't planned work for right now. We're always looking at ways to improve, and I'm so glad you shared how this idea would help you.

I want to encourage others who'd like this capability to add their voices to this conversation, too!
