I still can't upload images into newsletters. Has this been fixed from yesterday yet? Is there a workaround? Thanks.

Hi there,

Sorry for the trouble! Images should be loading as usual now. I hopped into your account and had no trouble adding images to the mailing I copied there (emma copy). Are you attempting to insert an image into the mailing from your photo library or from your computer?  Can you tell me what is happening for you when you attempt to select or insert the photo? Are you seeing an error message at any point? Once I have a bit more information I'll be better able to assist!

I'll be on the look-out for your reply.

Is there a file size limit? I select the file to upload, and then I get a box that says "oops, that wasn't supposed to happen"  This particular file is about 5,000 kb.

Then when i try to go back in and upload another file, it still has that oops message and I can't do anything.

Hello again,

The maximum file size for images is 6MB, so image size is probably not the issue. You'll want to make sure it's a jpeg or gif file, with RGB color values and 72 dpi. Are you trying to access an image from your computer, or from your Emma image library?

Emma should also accept png files (sorry- somehow that slipped through the cracks in my last response) but only if it's a non-interlaced png file. It is common to get the 'whoops' error when attempting to upload an interlaced png file, but re-saving it as a jpeg should get you  better results. Let me know if that works for you!

Weird that it doesn't accept my png files. they aren't interlaced. I loaded jpegs and that works. It just looks like the coloring is a little off, which is why I was trying to stay with png.

You might try putting that original png file into picmonkey.com (a free web-based image editor) and re-saving it there as a png to see if the newly saved file functions better for you. I hope that helps!
