SumoMe Trigger Confirmation Email

I've created a pop over using SumoMe List Builder and connect to my Emma account. I can see that the email addresses collected through SumoMe are appearing in the correct list - however, I have two problems:

Firstly, this is not triggering a confirmation email - is there anyway to make this happen?

Secondly, the new contacts are not appearing in the Added in Past 7 Days search.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks!

Hello! The behavior of that integration between SumoMe and Emma will depend on the API calls used to pass information between the two programs. Since SumoMe will be passing the information from its system to Emma, you might try getting in touch with them to ask the type of call used.

You may not be able to send the confirmation email that is automatically went from Emma signup forms, but you should be able to set up an automated mailing that serves the same purpose. If the SumoMe integration is using an "add" or "signup" call, a trigger based on signups from the "All" option will let you send an automated confirmation email through automation rather than the automatic email.

If you reach out to SumoMe and find out which call they are using to add people to Emma, I can do a little more research and find out how we would expect things to behave.

For your second question, only contacts who have signed up through an Emma signup form will appear in that list. Instead, you could set up a segment that looks like this:

This will include anyone who is a new audience member that signed up in the last 7 days. You could build an additional segment for the last month as well.

I hope this helps! If you find out more about those calls, let me know and I'll see what else I can find out!
