template doesn't save font information

Our bi-weekly newsletter includes two fonts with black paragraph text and red headlines. I've saved one formatted this way as a template, but every time I start a new newsletter, the text reverts to a different font and a gray color instead of black. The red we use in our branded logo is a specific RGB, that I have to hand type in each time I use a headline because it doesn't save, and I don't see a way to save frequently used colors. What is the point of saving a template design if it doesn't save the elements that make up the template?

Hey there -- Thanks for sharing this frustration. While the save as template feature saves any content and formatting you've added to the original template, it doesn't overwrite the template defaults. Our services team can hardcode default fonts and colors into your template for only $25! Let me know if you're interested, and I'll get you connected.

That sounds great! Yes, I'd like to have our branding fonts and colors set as our defaults. Let me know how to get that going!

Great! The quickest way will be to submit your request here on our design form! You can let our services team know what template you're working with and what changes you'd like to have implemented.

The design form does not have the option to request to hardcode default fonts and colors only. How can I request this service?

Hey there!

On the 2nd page of the Design Form, there is a box labelled "notes about your revisions" .  You can put your request in there.  :)

Let me know if you have any other questions!
