Template Not Updating Properly in Automated Workflow

I have an automated workflow named 2018 FALL FTIC WORKFLOW.  When I log in to look at the email that it is sending, all dates in the text are correct.  However, when I look at a specific contact and the email that they have opened, it is showing and email with the old 2017 dates in the body of the text.  When I try to go back and edit the email in the workflow, it is showing 2018 again.  It appears that the workflow is somehow linking to an old email, even through it shows that it is linking to the new email in my account.  Please help!

...in addition - not all of my automated emails that show in my automation tab are showing under automated in my campaigns tab.

Hi there,

I took a look at your automation and I just wanted to verify that it was the correct one. There is a "2018 FALL FTIC WORKFLOW *retired*" which is not currently active.

Any time you set up an automation, the response page data will reflect the design of the original email; that preview is generated from the first send of the workflow. The preview will not update after future edits are applied.

As long as your edits are made to the email linked to the workflow (and you select "publish" when you make the changes), they will be reflected in your recipients' inboxes, you just won't see that in the preview!
