A colleague in our office has somehow accidentally opted out of our mails and when she has tried to opt back in its asking her to contact us?

We cant alter anything within audience and it is imperative that she receives our emails.

The message she receives is attached.

Sorry to hear you're having this problem.

The system is designed so that someone can't be accidentally added back in without their express permission.

The quickest way to get your employee back on board is to direct her to wherever you have your email signup online. If she goes through your signup process, she'll be fine.

Hope this helps!

It is her who is trying to 'manage her preferences'  and trying to opt back in, not us?

We don't have a signup form connected to Emma yet.

If that's not working for her, you can go into your account and go to your default signup at the bottom of your Audience section page.

Click "publish" and you'll see a link up top. Paste in your browser and sign her up.

I hope that is clear.

Your steps would definitely work for a contact who's opted out, Barbara!

Here, this error message means that the contact was deleted from the account. The intention is to keep, say, competitors whom you've deleted from signing up again. You can follow these steps to undelete the contact so she can be opted back in!
