Why are some Mailings listed as Unrecorded in the Last Sent column?

I have recently sent out three emails to our entire list of 900+. On the Campaign matrix under the heading of "Last Sent" each of these is listed as "unrecorded". What does this mean? I know they went out. Is there a bug in our Emma?

When you see Unrecorded under the Last Sent column in the Sent tab, this means that Emma does not have a date and time recorded when the mailing was last sent. This is normally a mailing that was recently sent where we are still waiting on the date and time to show up (this may take a few days or more, depending on the mailing).

I have "unrecorded" listed for most of my mailings - this has only started since the change to the new system. How can EMMA not know when a mailing is sent, especially as most of my mailings are scheduled? Some of the  unrecorded notations go back to early March. Doesn't instill confidence when you say EMMA doesn't have a date and time recorded for when the mailing was sent.

You can still view the sent date and time for a mailing in the Response page for that mailing. The Unrecorded message is just shown in the Last Sent column in the Campaigns tab when that data has not populated in the Campaigns tab. It is still available in the Response tab in cases like this.

This has recently happened with my last three mailings in the last 3 weeks.  I am relieved that does not mean they were not sent, It  has not happened before.  Sounds like a bug in EMMA that I don't need to worry about.

Greg Rathburn, (Customer Service Specialist).. is this bug going to be fixed?  A month ago you mention we can still view the sent date and time for a mailing, and that it is still available in the response tab.   just wondering if we need to live with this, or if there is a planned fix.  Thank you very much!  (This is not happening with just recent mailings, but will all of them.)

We’ve heard from a few customers that they’re still experiencing this, so we went back to our development folks for some additional information. 

We’ve learned that this is still creeping up from time to time when a particular in-account action happens at the same point we’re doing automation work on the back end. Our dev gurus are still doing some tweaks to smooth out the process, but in the mean time, just give me a shout here if you run in to it, and I’ve got a script I can run on our end to get those populated in your account!


Mazamas and Compass Senior Living, we'll be running that script for your accounts, both should be updated within the next few days (if not sooner).

Greg, sorry to be piling on here. But I have 4 of my last 5 campaigns (going back to March 24, 2015)  that are showing Unrecorded in the list under the Campaigns tab. The dates and times do show up for these mailings under the Response tab. If it is not too much trouble, please run the script on my account too. Muchas gracias!

Hi Greg, we are showing "unrecorded" on a few mailings as well over the last two months or so. Does this affect the final results exported in any way?

The unrecorded status within the Sent tab of Campaigns only affects what info is displayed within Campaigns. It has no effect on any data in your Response section (or anything you export).

I've also requested the script be run on your account (Compass Commercial) so this data will be filled in within your Campaigns section (usually within a day or two).

My most recent mailings in July are still showing unrecorded.  I am wondering if this is close to being resolved?   Thank you!!

Mailings all the way back in April that were once showing the correct sent date are now showing "unrecorded," along with many others. Is this something I should be concerned about? Thanks

Thanks for the replies. A fix was released recently to correct the issue going forward. With that fix, we shouldn't be seeing this for mailings beyond July 2nd. If you see "unrecorded" showing for any mailings sent and completed beyond July 2nd, please let us know.

As for older mailings, our developers are working to get this data filled in for the Last Sent column. In the meantime, you can view the sent date and time for a mailing in the Response page for that mailing.

There are "unrecorded" mailings on the our account too. The latest one was sent July 7.

I just sent a mailing to 2000 people. It says "unrecorded" and does not show any have actually been sent. I know that people received my email but nothing is registering. Please advise.

Hi there -- We're currently seeing about a 30 minute delay in response data populating to the mailing response page. This is just a delay in seeing those numbers on the response page and does not affect your mailing actually sending. You should see that data, as well as the last sent time, populate once the mailing send is complete and the data is fully populated!
