Updating an "Active Autoresponder"?

We have a specific footer in an Active Autoresponder that shows current address when editing, but when people are getting from email signups on a website it still shows the original address when we first signed up.

It looks like the autoresponder was started way before the newer MyEmma Automation workflows so I'm not sure how to remedy this situation since we've updated all our setting and can't find where else to make the change. Help please!

Hey there,

When it comes to the old Autoresponders, there isn't a way to edit those mailings.  The way to think of it is that when you set up the autoresponder, it made a copy of the mailing and that's what it uses to send out.  So, while you can edit the original or even the template, that's not what's getting sent out.

Check out our Guide to Recreating An Autoresponder using Automation .  This will walk you through the process if you're not familiar, but in essence, the Autoresponder will need to be turned off and an Automation Workflow set up in its place.
