Updating Contacts

Hey!  I've found a number of contacts who are not receiving our Emma emails.  When I looked at their email addresses some need to be updated.  However, when I go to update those , the updated information isn't saving.  Any advice?

Hey there.  

Likely what's going on here is that you already have the correct address in your account.  

Since Emma uses email address as the unique identifier for each contact record, if you try to change a contact record to one that's already in the system, it will not let you.  

For example, if I have gstepp@myemma.com in my account, and then I also have gstepp@myemma.con  in the account, and I try to correct the .con address, Emma doesn't allow that.  

Check your audience to see if the correct address already exists in your audience, and likely you'll just need to delete the incorrect ones.
