Updating customer contacts with service information

We plan to send out review request emails weekly to the customers we have served the previous week. What process would you recommend? If we load in that customer list weekly to a new list, will it just update any existing contacts with a new "last serviced" date? Or is there some way to use segments to accomplish the same goal?  Thanks for any advice!

I would suggest doing an upload as you need to and that will add the new info, and update the old info (at import use the radio button: Update their records with information from this import (add and update)).

With your initial import, make sure you create a new contact field for "last serviced" under Manage contact fields along with any other fields you want to include. With this information in the system you will be able to segment by "last serviced" date if you need to. You will also be able to create an automated workflow if you need to for those segments - though that may be jumping ahead a bit.

The other thing you may want to consider, if there is a a way to connect your CRM or database to Emma via our API connection, that info could update automatically.
