When using the built-in Emma buttons, I find it quite constraining to not be able to include a small image icon or a special character such as » for increasing the visibility and direction of what the button is for. Is there a way to do either of these that I am missing?

Hi there Cedarville,

While you won't be able to use html to add special characters to the text of a button block, you can actually copy and paste in special characters and emojis to use in the text of a button! It's worth noting that not all email clients may support the emoji's in rendering, so you'll want to do some testing around that on your end before sending out to your full audience list.

I've made a quick mailing with two buttons to display this. First, I headed to a resource where I knew I'd be able to copy the special characters and emojis from. In this case, I went here, and here.

Then, I just pasted the characters I wanted into the text field of the button generator when setting up my buttons in the drag and drop editor. You can view the email here.

Feel free to let me know if you had some other ideas of how you'd like to see that work- I'll be happy to send some suggestions along to our product team so they can have some ideas on the radar for future product improvements.

Thanks!
