Using Emma to send a daily quote

We'd like to send our subscribers a daily quote.  Do you have any insight on the easiest way to do this?

We currently have a system set up through our website developer where we just upload a spreadsheet of quotes to our website back-end.  We generally upload a month at a time.  We'd like to move away from this so we can have our email lists all in one place (Emma).

As an added bit of complexity, we'd like the quotes to send out in two separate emails each day to two different lists.

Sorry, Sara.  We don't send out daily quotes, as we are a B2B distributor.

Hi Sara,

Have you  taken a look at the Automation tab in your account yet? It looks very basic and there's a nice video too. The most work on your end looks like it'll be entering your quote theme for the day (if you keep the template the same). I have something similar to create for an every Tuesday 'send'. I'm going to follow this convo to see what other advice you get, and if I learn something terrific, I'll send it over your way too.

Thanks and good luck!

Hi Sara -- Lani is on the right track here. It sounds like our new automation tool might be a good fit!

Using the Automation tab of your account, you can create a new automated workflow for each list that you want to send to. I recommend setting these up to trigger when someone signs up to receive your emails. You'll have to create each daily email in advance, but you can then set them up in an automated series to send in sequence after the first email is triggered! You may want to split these workflows up to be more manageable since we're talking about an email every day, but once you automate them they should carry on without you. :)

Let me know if you have any questions as you start to explore the automation tab in your account!
