Autoresponder doesn't send when Zapier data populates

I am gathering data via Zapier and everything seems to be working just swimmingly on that end. I have a Paypal Button that people are able to process a transaction and complete a payment. I have tested a few times and successfully see new data populating inside the emma environment.

I have created an Auto Responder that SHOULD trigger when the Zapier data is populated into the database, If the user exists or doesn't exist they are added/updated to a GroupID and a field (Field6) is updated to say the word 'paid'. The trigger is supposed to email out when that field is updated.

The rub is that it is not. Regardless of the contact existing in the database or not before or after the test is run.

What could I be doing wrong?

Zapier is parsing a successful sale via PayPal and sending the subscriber/payer details including First and Last Name, Email Address, City, State, Country, Phone, and Zapier is adding in the Field6 Data for all instances to say the word 'paid'

I do see all of that in the Audience Manager whenever i have tested and it does update (if i go an modify the field6 it changes to 'paid' if i go spend another dollar via paypal)

Happy Wednesday...I struggled with this initially and what I found was that in order to get an email to trigger when data is Zapped into Emma. You want to make sure of a few things.

1. Create a signup form
2. Create your email
3. Create your Autoresponder that says "When someone signs up with the sign up form I just created send the email I just created"  now, tomorrow in a hour..whatever your time parameters are.
4. Publish your signup form only so you can see the unique numerical ID#. Copy this for use in Zapier
5. Create your Zap and make sure you paste your unique signup ID in the Signup ID field of your Zap. This is different than assigning it to a group in zapier as Emma uses the actual signup form to tie to a trigger.

It sounds like you have everything else rocking and rolling except maybe number 4 and 5 above. Good luck Champ!
