I cannot figure out why I'm getting the weird border appearance that I'm getting in my newsletter draft. The image below shows the view I get in my MyEmma layout screen (1). All good there -- and the "preview" screen looks the same way. But when I send it to myself, I get the weird appearance shown in (2, see red circles) where my button elements have fine-line borders above and below them, and the right-side vertical border line disappears. very frustrating... any idea what's going on? This all seems to have just suddenly started after working fine for quite a while... Thanks.

I think I see what's going on. That mailing used a template that has right and left border lines that are built using the controls for the content blocks, as opposed to the controls for the columns. Here's how to set the border in each content block:

When setting up left/right borders for each content block, button borders don't seem to line up when sending to Outlook. Here's a screenshot from Outlook:

This appears to be a problem with Outlook, since I can't recreate that in any other email environments. Outlook even added the top and bottom border, even though I specified only left and right borders.Good news though! You can fix this by creating your column borders another way.

Here's how to set the borders by columns:

When I send a test message to Outlook using the second method, I see the following:

I would recommend making sure your templates have column borders that are created using the Main body and Right sidebar border controls, rather than the controls in each content block.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions!
