When someone signs up to receive our emails, is there a way to automatically add them to a distribution list?

We have users signing up by using the link in the bottom of an email (assuming it was forwarded by someone else), but then they aren't subscribed to a group and aren't receiving our emails. Is there a way to get notified when someone subscribes? Or automatically add them to a group?

Good Afternoon,

Great question!

The sign up option at the bottom of an Emma email will default to a classic sign up form. You can edit what this looks like, what fields are required, and where your contacts are being signed up all from the edit sign up form screen.

To find your signup form navigate to audience tab at the top of your Emma account, scroll towards the bottom to the forms section, select signup, then "Your Signup Form". By clicking into this you can select what is displayed when users select the footer option to sign up as well as which group they feed into.

While in this signup form edit screen you will see notification settings toward the top of the signup edit section. You can set which email is receiving signup notifications and how often you receive them.

I hope this helps,
