Where did the Change Column Display button go?

We use a number of custom fields that I like to sort by. I used to have the ability to display the fields I wanted via the Change Column Display button. That button seems to have disappeared and I'm unable to set up the visible fields I'd like to see on a Group or Segment view.

Thank you for reaching out with this. Can you tell me the name of the company/account that you are asking about? I'd like to jump in and have a look for you. If you are seeing our newer Audience view you are correct, there is not yet a way to change the column display. This is a feature we are aware that is missing from our updated look. I've added you to our feature request asking for this button to be added back. I'll be on the look-out for your response!

Thanks. I am indeed on the new Audience view. I think I speak for others when I say that bringing back the ability to change the display fields is certainly a thing worth doing. Appreciate the response back and (hopefully) a quick resolution to the missing button.

I totally understand your desire to get that button back.  I too, miss the button for troubleshooting purposes! Adding weight to the feature request is the best way to get this in front of our developers for future iterations of the Audience view.

Any update on this? I'm considering getting rid of this Plus version if it isn't in the works to be changed. It really affects my productivity! Thanks!

I miss this feature, too! I know there are new features to Emma Plus, but right now I'm just missing easy, basic things from the regular version!

When I search for a name like Barbara Smith in my contacts, I get a results of hundreds. When will you have the names associated with these emails listed for searches? This is very problematic.

Hi there!  

I merged your question here into this "Idea" topic that we already have going.  

In the older version of the Emma interface, there was an option to view (and sort) search results and group members by more than just email address and contact since date.  

This option was removed in the newer interface, and we have gotten a few requests to bring that functionality back.  I wanted to make sure your post was listed here so that you can be a part of the conversation when I have updates for this request.

Is this feature still unavailable in the new interface? I currently have the new interface and it definitely has a huge impact on productivity given we work with several of the fields.

It is still unavailable, though our product team is currently working on adding it back in.  I'll post back here as soon as we have it back!

So, I can see the column display when I log in, but whenever I edit it, I lose all all the columns and I'm left with just "email" and "contact since". Refreshing does nothing. Leaving the group or segment and going to another does nothing (and I no longer see the column display button). If I log out and log back in, THEN I see Column Display button again and the columns I see are the ones I set on the previous edit. Let me know if that all makes sense!

Hi David,

I went in to see if I had the same problem across all sub-accounts, but it appears to be working properly in all of them now!

However, just for some general feedback... I noticed that I can't sort by the various columns, which for me at least, is what I need. Just seeing the data isn't much help.

Thanks, David. I can see the feature, but like the poster above me, cannot sort by any field other than email, which makes this not all that useful.

Hi David,

I used to use this feature the most in our CKI account, which is where I send emails out to our franchisees (vs customers). I like to add the "store" and "first name" columns and then sort alphabetically by store to make sure that there are the right stores represented in my groups and that the current person for the store is in there.

Another place I use it is in our Restaurants account when updating a segment... I like the sort the "contact since" column to who is new within a segment.

Hello,

We recently released the ability to change the columns that get displayed within the audience section. You can add up to 10 fields to be displayed while viewing all contacts, the members of a group or segment, and search results. You can also sort by the columns that that you add.
