Where do the people *go* who use the sign-up form?

I've created a sign-up form for people who open my Emma invite and want to RSVP for my event. When testing this, people are easily able to use the form - that's good. BUT, where are RSVPs going? Can I say, "I want everyone who RSVPs to end up in X group? I'm sure this is simple but I'm stumped.

Hi Lauri! A new subscriber doesn’t know where in your account to go if it isn’t specific on the signup form, so they go into limbo. You can create a segment to find all members who aren’t in any audience groups.

To stop that from happening, you can edit your signup form to either give contacts the option of which groups to join or automatically assign them to a group. Jump into edit mode of your signup form on the Audience page, and click the add or remove groups button.



A group list will appear, and you can check Add next to the group you want your contacts to automatically be added to, and Display to give your contacts the option to select that group. You can also check both Add and Display to have that group pre-checked.
