Word wrap on forms

I'm trying to edit some forms on our sub-accounts and now all the text is wrapping weird (see image). I've tried highlighting the text, clicking the HTML button and unchecking the word wrap, clicking update, and save, and previewing again...but still looks the same. It doesn't matter if I'm coping text over from another form (what I did the first time), use the "remove formatting" button and reformat it, or if I just manually type the text....it still wraps weird. I've tried switching sub-accounts, but it happens on all of them.  I'm using Chrome Version 50.0.2661.102 (64-bit). Please help!

I definitely want to look into that experience, especially since it seems to be happening across multiple of your subs.

You mentioned copying text from another form. Could you let me know which form that was in which sub-account? Once I can nail that down, we can start digging in and looking for the culprit.

Hi Anthony,

I had placed the form into a Facebook Tab and was just copying it from there, so that I could have the text. It's the Default Form - there's one in all the sub-accounts. Also, if it helps, I noticed if I go into one, not change anything in the top text box (just change the fields displayed or something like that), and then save, and preview...the text looks like the attachment. Hope that helps! Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi there Country Kitchen!

Adrienne from Emma Support, taking over for Anthony, was has been out.

I went into your account and specifically the CK of Dickinson subaccount, since it appears that that was the one in your screenshot.

I did not encounter the issue with the weird wrapping in your Default Form - not on the signup form itself, and not on the confirmation screen.

The signup form appeared like this:

And the confirmation screen looked like this:

Both of these look right to me!

Additionally, I received the confirmation and welcome emails in my inbox.

It looks like you've resolved the original issue, but if you still need help, just let us know!

All the best,

Adrienne

Hi Adrienne,

You're not seeing the weird wrapping because I took that other text out while I waited for a response. The other text is back on the Dickinson form, so feel free to go check it out now (it's still doing the wrapping). Thanks!

Hi there Country Kitchen,

Thank you so much for the extra info!

One of my colleagues took a look at the issue and determined that the weird wrapping seemed to be caused by the use of bullets. He's pretty code savvy but wasn't able to determine exactly why the bullets were causing the issue. So, he stripped out the code that was causing the problem and reformatted the form to use dashes instead of the problematic bullets.

Could you please take a look at the updated Classic Form in the Dickinson account and let me know if this resolves the issue for you, or if you'd like us to keep working on it?

Thank you so much, again!

Best,

Adrienne
