When reviewing the HTML I inserted into the "Insert HTML" page on custom coded emails is inserting non-relevant tags that causes errors.  The <meta> and <img> tags do not have closing tags.

Hey there! It looks like you're inserting the full Emma template markup into your HTML code, which can cause rendering issues and will return errors like the one's you're seeing above.

From our Resource Center: "Templates are themselves an HTML document, complete with a heading and body framework. When using the 'Code your own' template or the editor's HTML block, all you'll need is the table code for your custom elements."

With that being said, your HTML code should not include , , etc tags at all. You can find more information on the basic formatting for HTML with Emma here:

http://support.e2ma.net/Resource_Center/Account_how-to/basic-format-for-your-own-html-emails

With those tips in mind, you should reduce your code down to just the table (roughly lines 428 - 678). Let me know if you have further questions on this!
