Good afternoon, are there any current issues with the
response email tool today 11/26/2014? I sent an email out earlier today, and the tool is reporting 0
emails sent. Typically I’m able to see immediate opens, clicks, etc...

Is anybody else experiencing this today?

I am also experiencing this. I sent an email 1.5 hours ago and it is reporting no emails sent. I also have not received the email and I usually receive it immediately.

Hi, Thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to hear that you are see slow loading response metrics. I have checked with our systems team and learned that we have had higher than normal sending volume today. This results in a significant increase in response data to be processed by our database and loaded to our client accounts. The data will load as our system works through the current backlog and our team here is exploring options for speeding up that process.

Again, I am sorry for the delay and am hopeful you will see your response metrics load within the next couple of hours.

In other words, you don't have adequate capacity for the service we're *paying for* and your servers overloaded. Totally screwed up my nonprofit's marketing schedule and not acceptable in terms of reliability.

Hi Alliance for Regional Development, I am sorry to hear that you were negatively impacted by today's delay in response data load times. To be clear, there was no delay or interruption with any other part of the Emma application. Mailings that were sent, were sent promptly.

I did see that you posted below and it sounds like you were having trouble simply viewing campaigns in your account. I did check your account a few minutes ago and had no trouble viewing campaigns. If you continue to experience trouble, feel free to  post a new thread with details. I will be glad to assist.

Kyle, it is not a browser issue. Today is Sunday, November 30, and on multiple computers since the day before Thanksgiving we have been unable to send test emails, which means we have been unable to review and queue our December 1 newsletter, which will now be late. Can you investigate the reason test emails are not working on our account for the "Alliance Monthly Update | December 2014" mailing draft?

Hi there, Alliance for Regional Development.

As on I mentioned on the other Emma Community thread where you'd posted on this trouble, even though we don't offer official holiday support, I saw your note on this issue and wanted to lend a quick hand. I hopped in to your Emma account, took a look at the "Alliance Monthly Update | December 2014" mailing and was able to spot exactly what was preventing your test mailings from sending. Usually those whoops errors that occur when you attempt to send a mailing point to a problem within the content in that particular campaign, and that's exactly the situation here.

The trouble is related to the angled brackets included as a part of the link name for the "Click to register for the webcast>>" link in the right column of your mailing. When those angled brackets are included in the link name, it breaks the format of the link tag within the HTML -- and that whoops error is being thrown because of the invalidly formatted link.

For example, in HTML, this is the structure used in the code for a hyperlink:

Those angled brackets are what tell it to start and end the tag. If we insert an angled bracket in the link name like this:

... the "laws of HTML" say that the tag is really only this portion: <a data-name="link name here>

If you exclude those angled brackets from specifically the text you enter for the link name on the "link to" pop-up window, you should be good to go! I've gone ahead and excluded those two angled brackets from the link name in the campaign copy in your Emma account called "Alliance Monthly Update | December 2014 - Emma COPY." Please feel free to either use that version for your testing or just remove those two characters from the link name in your version.

Hope this helps you out. If you need further assistance, we'll be back in the office tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. Central and would love to help then!

Best,
Katie

I have just reviewed several accounts that had reported response delays earlier this afternoon. That data is now loaded and visible within a number of those accounts. For those of you who don't yet see your mailings response information, thank you for your patience. I expect your data to load this evening.

Please feel free to reply here with additional questions. I will be checking our system and reviewing this thread while stuffing the bird and sampling the pies.

I can't see anything in my account. No past campaigns that have been sent, nothing listed in Responses, no draft campaigns are listed, etc. it looks like my Emma account is sitting there empty.

Hi New Hope, I am sorry to hear about the inability to view data in your account earlier today. The database delays we experienced today caused only a delay in response data. There was no system wide interruption in any other portion of our applications. I reviewed your account and am able to see all response data. I can also view all draft, scheduled, and sent campaigns listed on the campaigns page of your account.

If you are unable to view any data in your account, that is most likely a browser related issue. Occasionally we have had customers report a similar problem. The most common fix is to clear your browsers cache and cookies, then quitting and restarting your browser should correct that problem.

Mine doesn't work either. We created an email blast yesterday, to send out today, and my saved data, past campaigns, drafts, etc are all nonexistent.
